lately, there's been an increase in the number of people having contrarian thoughts on twitter, what they don't get is that they're in a trap. it's the same trap of “feeling productive by watching productivity hacks videos on youtube".

internet has made it easy for every person to feel that they belong somewhere, people who had a different thinking are now able to share it with the world and find like minded individuals but it has also made the exponentially increased the number of models each person can have which leads to a circle jerk where the same people keep talking about the same things and keep feeling good about themselves.

everyone's got opinions. everyone thinks they've figured out what's wrong with the world. but most are just recycling someone else's ideas.

while you're crafting that perfect tweet about how society is broken, someone else is quietly building alternatives. while you're debating the flaws of the education system, someone's starting an experimental school.

stop talking about it, just do it.
